COMPONENT DETAILS

A) NIR Video Fear SAC

• This specially designed SAC is built to accommodate NIR video recording and limit the effects of outside stimulation on test animals.
• Durable medium density fiberboard (MDF) construction with high pressure laminate
• Factory installed 28V DC ventilation fan (ENV-025F)
• Guide rails to ensure proper chamber positioning
• Top opening for our IR/white light source (NIR-100L2B)

B) NIR/White Light Unit + Control Box

• Visible Light Temperature: 6000K “cool white”
• Visible Light Intensity: Five user-adjustable settings
  (illumination levels vary by cubicle size)
• NIR wavelength: 940nm

C) Chamber

• Specialized base plate ensures proper positioning within the SAC
• Convenient handle to pull towards the opening of the SAC for easy loading and unloading of animals
• Roller wheels in chamber base reduce static electricity build-up

D) Grid Floor, Low Profile

• Stainless steel grid rods mounted in white polypropylene supports.
• Floor is easily removed via two thumbscrews for cleaning
• Stainless steel waste pan is autoclavable
• Add the appropriate harness for aversive stimulation

E) Grid Floor Harness

• Attaches the grid floor to an aversive stimulus
  generator.
• Terminates in DB-9 connector
• Appropriate harness for each grid floor is detailed in the chart below
