Coulbourn Equipment Compatibility FAQ

Q: Can you use Med-PC software with Coulbourn S-R devices?
A: Yes

Q: Can you use Graphic State software with Med Associates I/O devices?
A: Yes

Q: Can you connect Coulbourn S-R devices to a Med Associates Connection Panel and power+control interface (interface cabinet, connection panel, decode card, etc.)?
A: Yes

Q: Can you connect Med I/O devices to a Coulbourn power + control interface (Base, Linc, ECB, etc.) ?
A: Yes

Q: Can you swap out modular panels from Coulbourn to Med?
A: Yes, unscrew one, screw on the other. or, make mounting panels

Q: Does Med support PCI based systems?
A: Unfortunately, our PCI and PCIe systems have become obsolete, and we cannot support them. This includes Coulbourn’s Habitest Linc system, if it’s using a PCI card installed in the computer. Our interface system is now USB based, with a decode card installed in our interface cabinet. So, once your Coulbourn Habitest Linc system becomes non-operational, we are unable to repair it. Until that happens, you can continue to use it with both Coulbourn and Med devices with the adapters detailed on the following page.
